Welcome to our new initiative in The Gambia! We are excited to support the village of Tujereng by creating a community garden and football pitch. During our research visit, we witnessed the limited safe spaces for children to play and connect. Motivated by this experience and our collaboration with local primary schools in Haringey, we decided to fundraise to make this vision a reality.
THE FOOTBALL TEAMS
Our local team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young athletes. Through our partnership with Kitaid Charity, we provide them with essential kits, and we continuously seek ways to support their needs, including lunches, drinks, and educational resources. Many of these talented boys and girls aspire to play in Europe, with some taking significant risks to pursue their dreams. By offering these incentives, we aim to instill hope and motivate them to strive for a brighter future.
KETTIFAMO COMMUNITY HUB
Welcome to our community space. We aim to create a vibrant and eco-friendly place where local villagers can come together and flourish. Our local school will engage young minds with practical lessons in farming and flower planting. Additionally, we host workshops and naming ceremonies to honour our community's diverse culture. Thanks to our generous donors, including the provision of a borehole for fresh water, we are dedicated to improving the lives of our neighbours by providing shared resources and opportunities.
